Datun town

Datun Town, an old place name, is a part of Chaoyang District of Changchun City, namely Fufeng street.

Datun town is located in the west of Chaoyang District, 17 kilometers away from the urban area. Harbin Dalian railway. North (Beijing) Harbin (erbin) highway passes through here. There are volcanic cone Fufeng mountain (Datun volcano). Datun town was established in 1955, changed into a commune in 1958, resumed in 1979, and was incorporated into Chaoyang District in 1995.
