Gaoluoxiang

Gaoluo township is located in the southeast of Yuanqu County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, bordering maojia in the West and Lishan and Changshan in the East. It covers an area of 137 square kilometers, governs 15 administrative villages, 116 residential groups, has a permanent population of 14954 (in 2017), and has a cultivated land area of 33258 mu. It is a traditional agricultural township.

Due to the special geographical environment and regional culture, Gaoluo has formed a folk culture with a long history and unique style. （1） Red culture tourism in bulaoquan is 14 kilometers away from the county seat, 3 kilometers away from Tianpan mountain scenic spot, and 11 kilometers away from Wangxian scenic spot. As early as 1937-1946, it was the birthplace of Anti Japanese armed forces of Yuanqu people. Five Anti Japanese armed forces were born and gathered here, and the two district governments of Yuanqu County were stationed here. It is not only a pure eco-tourism destination, but also a red cultural tourism destination. It is located in the Shita gorge in the northwest of Tianpan mountain, with a total length of 9 km.
