Xinglong Town

Xinglong town is a town under the jurisdiction of Anlong county, Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is located in the South East of Anlong county, bordering redu town and weipang town of Ceheng County in the East, qiaoma town of Ceheng County in the south, Pojiao town of benxian County in the southwest, Xin'an town of benxian County in the West and Pingle town of benxian County in the north.

Xinglong town is located in the east of Anlong county, bordering redu town of Ceheng County in the East, qiaoma town of Ceheng County in the south, Pojiao town of Xin'an town in the West and Pingle town in the north. The terrain of the town is complex, belonging to typical karst terrain, with the highest altitude of more than 1700 meters and the lowest altitude of more than 1110 meters. The seat of the town government is about 16 kilometers away from Anlong county, 33 kilometers away from shachangping passenger station of Nanning Kunming railway, 47 kilometers away from Longguang freight station, and provincial highway 313 passes through the town. The town covers an area of more than 191 square kilometers, with a cultivated area of 24200 mu, including 11550 mu of paddy field and 12700 mu of dry land. It governs 22 administrative villages and 131 villager groups. By the end of 2003, there were 29410 people in 6925 households, living in Buyi, Miao, Hui and other ethnic minorities.
