Xinglong Town

Xinglong Town, subordinate to Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is one of the border trade towns of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County. It is located in the northeast of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, bordering Baifusi town of Hubei Province in the East, Chetian Township in the south, Muye Township in the West, Dahe Town of Hubei Province in the north, 69 kilometers away from the resident of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 180 square kilometers Rice.

History of construction

During the Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of qianzongfu.

In 1924, it was set up as the three eastern districts. From 1941 to 1944, it belonged to the Fifth District. In 1944, it belonged to the third district (Lianghe).

In April 1953, Xinglong was designated as the seventh district.

In June 1958, Xinglong commune was established.

In 1983, Xinglong commune was changed into Xinglong Township.

In July 2001, Xinglong Township and Tuping Township were merged into Xinglong town.
