Puyang town is a town under the jurisdiction of Shunping County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. It is located in the east of Shunping County, adjacent to gaoyupu town in the southeast, Tang County in the southwest and Pushang town in the northwest. The maximum distance from east to west is 10.62 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 10.74 km, with a total area of 64.73 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total registered residence of Pu Yang town was 56582.
In 1953, it was a town in the city. In 1958, it belonged to Yonglu commune. In 1984, it was changed into Chengguan town. In January 1988, it was renamed Puyang town. As of June 2020, Puyang town has 5 neighborhood committees and 33 village committees, and the town people's government is located in Beijie village.

In 1958, Yonglu commune was built in memory of martyr Han Yonglu. Puyang town gets its name because Puyang river passes through the border.
