Located in the north of Lengshuijiang City, Loudi City, Hunan Province, Xikuangshan Street enjoys the reputation of "antimony capital of the world".

General situation

It has 5 subordinate enterprises including Lengshuijiang Zaixing antimony mine and Lengshuijiang Jiujiu Antimony Industry Co., Ltd. The area is rich in antimony, coal and other mineral resources. Over the years, the street has gradually formed an economic development pattern with mining, metallurgy and other industries as the main industry, and construction, transportation, catering and other industries as the auxiliary. Antimony smelting industry is very developed. Lengshuijiang antimony industry association was established. There are more than 40 private enterprises of antimony products, 2 with an annual output value of more than 10 million yuan and 10 with an annual output value of more than 5 million yuan. In particular, antimony smelting technology has entered the international forefront, among which the high-purity antimony ingots produced by Loudi Xinghua Co., Ltd. and Lengshuijiang Zhenqiang Co., Ltd. have reached the national advanced level. Its antimony ore field has four major deposits. After 100 years of mining, it still has a reserve of 400000 tons, known as the "antimony capital of the world". With the production capacity of 40000 tons of antimony products, 40000 tons of refined zinc and 100000 tons of chemical products, the company is the main scientific research base and production base for the deep processing of antimony products in China, and also the largest producer and supplier of antimony products in the world. Lengshuijiang City, known as the "antimony capital of the world", has the largest antimony reserves, mining capacity and smelting technology in the world. However, due to the antimony mining for more than a century, a large area of underground goaf is distributed within 2.5 square kilometers of Lengshuijiang City, in which the highest goaf is more than 30 meters underground, and the roof under the mine is only 20 cm away from the surface. Baodaxing area where Zeng is located is one of the most serious mined out areas in tin mine. Lengshuijiang City has become the first pilot city in Hunan Province to carry out the comprehensive treatment of the mined out subsidence areas in resource-based cities since the state started the comprehensive treatment of the mined out subsidence areas in resource-based cities. In 2008, with the support of Hunan provincial Party committee and government, Loudi municipal Party committee and government, Lengshuijiang set up the relocation and avoidance office in Shanbao Daxing collapse area of tin mine. On January 8, 2010, 125 households of taotang neighborhood committee, including Zeng's family, officially moved out of baodaxing District, which has lived for many years but posed a great threat to their lives and property. The first batch of 125 households with 463 people were moved out of the subsidence area.
