Qiaotou
Qiaotou township is located in the northeast of Guidong County, Hunan Province, with Qingquan town in the East, Hankou Township in the West and Suichuan County in Jiangxi Province in the north and south. Provincial highway x001 passes through the county. In 2007, the township government was 32 kilometers away from the county, which is a remote and poverty-stricken mountainous area. The township governs 8 villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 112 resident groups, 10247 people (in 2017), with a birth rate of 8.71 ‰ and a natural growth rate of 4.3 ‰. The average annual net income of farmers is 1348 yuan.
The territory is 390-1906 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountains, Qilong BAGOU and Quanjiang river. It originates from liugongshan formation of Hengdian village, and flows through six villages. The two sides are valleys.

Economic overview
The total land area is 85.94 square kilometers (2017), with 9920 mu of cultivated land, including 8913 mu of paddy field; 90000 mu of forest land, including 81313 mu, planned as national ecological public welfare forest. With mild climate and abundant rainfall, the township is a middle and low mountain grain, forest, tea and fruit area in the county. Tea, Phyllostachys pubescens, kumquat and grass mountain cultivation are the traditional advantageous industries of the township. Agriculture is mainly rice, tea, bamboo, kumquat and herbivorous livestock breeding, with an annual output of 3434 tons of grain. The tea garden area has developed to 4000 mu, which is the main production area of Linglong tea in the county. Qiaotou tea cooperative has been listed as one of the provincial demonstration projects, and has been rated as the city's "top ten professional cooperative economic organizations". The cooperative has registered the "Qiaotou" brand Linglong tea trademark, and has 118 members. The cooperative has implemented the business model of unified processing, unified sales and unified ordering of seedlings, and has become a professional cooperative economic organization for farmers to increase their income and become rich. the industry is dominated by mineral resources, hydropower, silicon smelting, spinning and food processing. The territory is rich in non-metallic mineral reserves, with the reserves of silica and potash feldspar ranking first in the county. There are 6 ore spots and 1 silicon smelter. There are 14 power stations with a total installed capacity of 10050 kW, of which 12 have been put into operation with an installed capacity of 9250 kW. At present, there are two tea processing factories and one Xiangyu spinning factory imported from the former cannery.
