Weizhou Town, subordinate to Jingxing County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Jingxing County, bordering Luquan District in the East, Shangan town and Weishui town in the south, Jingxing mining area and Xiaozuo town in the west, and Sunzhuang Township in the north, with an administrative area of 77.79 square kilometers.

Weizhou town used to be the seat of Weizhou. In November 1988, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Nangudi Township and zhuangzitou Township were merged into Weizhou town. By the end of 2018, the population of Weizhou town registered residence was 27649. As of June 2020, Weizhou town has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Beian village.

In 2011, the total revenue of Weizhou town was 26.2124 million yuan, including 16.31 million yuan of national tax and 8.85 million yuan of local tax. Investment in fixed assets was 1.19 billion yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year. The per capita net income was 6900 yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 52 industrial enterprises in Weizhou Town, including 8 above scale enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

Weizhou town used to be the seat of Weizhou.

In 1931, it was the Fourth District of Jingxing county.

In 1950, Weizhou was the third district.

In 1953, Weizhou, Pingwang, zhuangzitou, Sanyu and GuDi were administrated.

In 1959, Weizhou commune was established.

In 1984, it was changed to Weizhou township; in the same year, it was removed from township and changed to Weizhou town.

In November 1988, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Nangudi Township and zhuangzitou Township were merged into Weizhou town.

Guayun mountain scenic spot is located in the northeast of Jingxing County, 20 kilometers away from Shijiazhuang city. It is known as "xiaotai mountain". Looking to the East, it is the boundless North China Plain, and looking to the west, it is the Taihang peaks of Mangmang cangyan. The Western peak of guayun mountain is called Qingquan temple, also known as "guanri peak", which is the best place to climb to watch the sunrise. On the top of the mountain, there are temples of three emperors and five emperors, Lianxin bridge, memorial platform for martyrs and memorial Pavilion for martyrs.
