Taiping Town
On December 4, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of some township administrative divisions in Neijiang City (Chuanfu civil affairs No. 11): Longshan Town was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Taiping Town, and Taiping Town People's government was stationed at No. 11 Heping Street.
Taiping town is located in the east of Zizhong County. The people's Government of Taiping town is located in Taiping Town, 24 kilometers away from Zizhong County. In 1992, Taiping town was built from the township. It covers an area of 56 square kilometers and has a population of 43000, including more than 3000 urban residents, including Zhuang, Miao, Tujia, etc. It has jurisdiction over 24 villages and 1 neighborhood committee. Cars can pass Neijiang, Zizhong and Anyue, and the transportation is very convenient.
