Xin'an town

Xin'an town is located in the west of Pingshan County, bordering Jinping Town in the East, Xinshi town in the west, Longhua Town and Longxi Township in the north, and Suijiang County in Yunnan Province across Jinsha River in the south. Xinanchang town (Binhu community), where the town government is located, is 78 kilometers away from the highway mileage of the new County in the East and 24 kilometers away from the highway mileage of the new town in the West. Xinanxiang was formed in 1956 by the merger of Xinzheng, Anhe and Jufu. Xinzheng means new political power, Anhe means stability and peace, and Jufu means happiness. The first word of "New Deal" and "Anhe" was changed to "Xin'an". In 1992, it was renamed Xin'an town. The town covers an area of 135.04 square kilometers, with a sea level of 320-2008 meters. Laojunshan is located in the territory, with an east-west trend, passing through Jinsha River and Hulu river. Historical evolution

In Song Dynasty, it was called Pingyi village.

In the Yuan Dynasty, there was a lawsuit against the chief justice of Pingyi.

In the Ming Dynasty, it was still the chief secretary, and pingyili was set up.

In Qing Dynasty, it was changed into Pingyi township.

After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese war on the 26th day of the Republic of China (1937 AD), it advocated the unity of all ethnic groups in the country to resist Japan and changed its name to Pingyi township.

After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, it was renamed Ping'an township.

In 1951, Ping'an township was divided into three townships: Xinzheng, Anhe and Jufu.
