Chengguan Town

Chengguan Town, belonging to Shibing County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, is located in the middle of Shibing County, bordering Ganxi Township in the East, yangliutang town in the south, Xinzhou town in Huangping County in the west, niudachang town in the northwest and baiduo Township in the north, with an administrative area of 328.75 square meters.

Chengguan town was formerly known as Pianqiao Town, but its ancient name was pianqiaowei. In 1994, the former Chengguan District, Daqiao Township and Xinqiao Township were merged into Chengguan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Chengguan town was 53793. As of June 2020, Chengguan town has jurisdiction over 12 communities and 12 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Chengguan town is located in Zhongsha community.

History of construction

Chengguan town was originally named Pianqiao Town, which was named pianqiaowei in ancient times.
