Xinli Street

Xinli street is located in the southeast of Xinxing district. It is adjacent to Xinggang street in Taoshan District in the East, Xinxing mine office building in the west, Henan Street in the south, and Xinxing mine Bajing and Erjing in Qibao highway in the south. It is bounded by Dapeng road in the north and connected with Xin'an street in the district. It covers an area of 35 square kilometers. The majority of the residents in the street are Han people, and a few of them are Manchu and Hui people. The terrain gradually rises from west to East. There are 4 communities, 18 residents committees and 20871 residents (2010).

Xinli street used to be Xinxing mine family branch. In March 1982, it was handed over to Xinxing district for management, and Xinli street was established. Xinli Street established the Charity Supermarket on October 1, 2004. The supermarket is divided into parity area, living area, donation area and optional area. Since the establishment of the supermarket, more than 500 pieces of clothing, 25 bags of rice, 32 bags of white flour and 15 pairs of shoes have been distributed to the poor people in 2005. The low price zone sells zero profit goods worth more than 3000 yuan to the low income households. In June 2004, Xinli street was invested by the municipal government to build a three storey office building with an area of 500 square meters, which was completed and put into use on October 9, 2004. Xinlijie is located in the old mining area. Due to the large-scale mining of underground coal resources for many years, it has caused underground cavity and ground subsidence, resulting in serious damage to some houses. According to the damage degree of the subsidence houses, they were divided into four grades: 4258 A-class houses, 4031 B-class houses, 760 C-class houses and 216 D-class houses. From the 1990s to 2003, they were treated by stages and moved in batches.
