brief introduction
Liulichang, Jinyu Hutong and dongjiaomin Lane
Liulichang is located in Xuanwu District. It is 1km away from Tiananmen Square. Liulichang, 800 meters long, starts from Nanbei Liuxiang in the West and ends at yanshousi street in the East. It was named Haiwang village in the Liao and Jin Dynasties. In the yuan and Ming Dynasties, there were official kilns to make glazed tiles for the construction of the Imperial Palace, so it was called "Liulichang". During the reign of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, a famous cultural street was gradually formed. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, kiln firing was stopped, and the name of "Liulichang" remains today. It is a famous historical and cultural tourist attraction displaying Chinese traditional culture, especially calligraphy and painting art. In the Qing Dynasty, most of the Han officials lived outside Xuanwu Gate to the west of Liulichang, and the guilds where kukao Juzi lived were nearby. They had a great demand for books, so Liulichang became the largest book market in the capital at that time. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, the Sikuquanshu was revised, and booksellers all over the country set up stalls and shops here to sell a large number of books, which promoted the development of Liulichang Cultural Street. By 1876, there were more than 270 bookstores. In the early years of the Republic of China, there were nearly 200 shops and workshops dealing in cultural goods, forming a cultural street famous at home and abroad. In 1980, the state carried out a large-scale renovation and expansion of the old Liuli long street, which was completed in 1984. 59 simple and elegant shops with rich national traditional style have been built, with a total construction area of 34000 square meters. It is a high-grade cultural art distribution center and an ancient capital style tourist area integrating books, jade, ceramics, sculpture, bronzes, calligraphy and painting, and study. At the junction of Liulichang and Xinhua Street is Changdian, the site of the biggest Spring Festival temple fair in Beijing for 200 years. In Chang Dian Ji written by Ma jiongzhang of the Qing Dynasty, it is said that "in the first month, the gentry of the city will be in full swing, and they will come to the road in arms." According to relevant records, during the Spring Festival in 1963, Changdian had 4 million tourists. After the cultural revolution, the factory was interrupted. Since 2002, "Changdian folk culture temple fair" has been restored every year from the first day to the sixth day of the lunar new year. It mainly displays the Beijing culture, Xuannan culture, reviews the people's happiness, shows the style of the times, and reproduces the charm of the ancient capital. The temple fair integrates tourism, leisure and entertainment, shopping and catering, and is characterized by an open "catch-up fair". It is composed of artistic performances, Flower Fairs and parades, craft exhibitions, catering services, sightseeing and shopping, entertainment and entertainment. It has become the most lively and popular place in Beijing during the Spring Festival.
