On June 12, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Yanyuan County and other five counties (cfzm [2020] No. 7): Yuanbaoshan Township, Yanjiao Township and Dayandong Township were abolished and Baoshan town was established. The administrative regions of Yuanbaoshan Township, Yanjiao Township and Dayandong Township were taken as the administrative regions of Baoshan Town, and Baoshan Town People's government was stationed in Paomaping 98, cunxincun road.

Evolution of organizational system

In 2020, Yuanbaoshan Township, Yanjiao Township and Dayandong township will be abolished, and Baoshan town will be established. The administrative area of Baoshan town will be the original administrative area of Yuanbaoshan Township, Yanjiao Township and Dayandong Township, and the people's Government of Baoshan town will be stationed at No. 98, Xincun Road, Paomaping Village.
