Longshan Subdistrict

Longshan street is located in the southeast of Linzhou city. It is named after Longfeng Mountain. It is adjacent to Hengshui town in the East, Zhenlin street in the west, Hejian town and Caisang town in the South and Guiyuan street in the north. It covers an area of 30.3 square kilometers, with 4335 mu of cultivated land.

Historical evolution

Longshan street was established in January 2003, covering an area of 8.32 square kilometers. In the same year, the original neighborhood committee was adjusted and planned, with a total population of 29731 at the end of the year. It has nine neighborhood committees, including Longshan, Guangming, Huanshan, Daxue Road, Limin, Shagang, Yuntong, Xinhua and Xinxing, and two administrative villages, namely Lintai and Xijie. In 2004, the population was 30176. In April 2006, nine communities were adjusted to seven.
