In July 1986, Chengbei sub district office was set up in the original suburban area. Now it has jurisdiction over 5 administrative areas, 33 villages and 267 villager groups. Seven Star Management Area governs 5 villages of Zhaojie, Changyan, Beishi, Wanqiao and Jiangxiang; Shengtan management area governs 7 villages of Gaoqiao, Wulou, Fugang, Sunyan, Yangjie, HANWAN and Shengtan; Douhe management area governs 8 villages of Douhe, Weihe, Liulin, zouguo, Xiaoliao, niepo, Songpo and Lizui; Gonghe management area governs 7 villages of Leishan, Wangmiao, Baima, xuhuang, rehuo, Gonghe and Daihe; Six villages, Baiyang, Jidun, Hongtang, Xishi, Chapeng and Xingguang, are under the jurisdiction of Xishi management area.

Economic situation

There are 3058.7 hectares of cultivated land, including 2226.9 hectares of paddy field and 831.8 hectares of early farmland. The total number of households is 13010, the office is close to the central city, and Song Ying highway runs through the whole office. The underground gypsum in the area has large reserves, high grade and easy exploitation. Hubei Yingcheng gypsum mine and other enterprises have been established. Establish six bases of grain and oil, vegetables, mushrooms, livestock and poultry, aquatic products, forest and fruit, vigorously develop agriculture, rely on rich resources, give priority to support gypsum building materials industrial community and Zhaojie, North ten center market.
