Tiantan Street

Tiantan street is located in Jiyuan City, Henan Province, in the west of Jiyuan City, starting from Tiantan road in the East, reaching west 2nd Ring Road in the west, North 2nd Ring Road in the north and South Ring Road in the south, with a total area of 16.8 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

Tiantan street, founded on November 25, 1992, is named after Tiantan mountain, the main peak of Wangwu mountain in the west of the city.

Economic overview

The temple of heaven is the old industrial base of Jiyuan. More than 10 municipal enterprises such as Henan Jigang, Benyue float and Taihang Cement once gathered here, known as "Tiexi District", with a strong industrial foundation. The temple of heaven is rich in cultural heritage. Yanqing temple, also known as Longtan Temple, was founded in the third year of Tang Dynasty (687). The existing state-level key cultural relics protection units, such as relic pagoda, are built. In the west of the temple, there is Longtan spring, which is the West source of Jishui. It is known as "Longtan night moon" and one of the ancient "nine scenes of Jiyuan". The temple of heaven is also the "new industrial and trade zone" of Jiyuan. Southern Industrial Zone: three start-up parks have been built, with more than 140 self owned industrial enterprises and an industrial output value of nearly 8 billion yuan, initially forming pillar industries such as machinery manufacturing, glass deep processing and mining electrical appliances.
