Wurast town is a town under the jurisdiction of Jimunai County in Altay area of Xinjiang. It is located in the south of Jimunai County, passing through 2920 and 2926 provincial roads. On July 13, 2016, the people's Government of the autonomous region agreed to abolish the organizational system of Tuopu tiereke Township in Jimunai county and establish ulast Town, with its administrative boundaries, government residences and affiliation unchanged.

Evolution of organizational system
