Kukexilug Township
Kukexiluge Township, which belongs to Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County in Kashgar region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County. It is connected with the tartajik ethnic township of aktao County in the East, Waqia Township in the south, bandir Township in the west, and qialong township of aktao County in the north. It is 80 kilometers away from the county seat of Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County, and is located in the middle of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region The total area is 567.45 square kilometers.
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, kukesiluke Township belonged to a village in Puli County; in February 1985, kukesiluke commune was changed into kukesiluke township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the village was 2091. In 2019, kukesilug Township governs four administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in wayaoben village.

History of construction
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, kukesiluke Township belonged to a village in Puli county.
In March 1950, Kukexilike township was built.
In January 1952, Puli county set up district government at the grass-roots level, and kukesiluke Township belongs to four districts.
In 1955, Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County was divided into two districts, kukesiluk Township belongs to two districts.
In 1958, kukoshilik commune was established.
In 1966, kukosilik commune was renamed Shengli commune.
In 1975, the original name of kukosilik commune was restored.
In February 1985, Kukexilike commune was changed into kukexilug township.

In 2011, the rural area of kukosilug governs four administrative villages, namely wayaoben, kamaruzi, qiruketong and jilegaiti, with seven villager groups.
