Kukexilug Township

Kukexiluge Township, which belongs to Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County in Kashgar region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County. It is connected with the tartajik ethnic township of aktao County in the East, Waqia Township in the south, bandir Township in the west, and qialong township of aktao County in the north. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, kukesiluke Township belonged to a village in Puli County; in February 1985, kukesiluke commune was changed into kukesiluke township. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, kukesiluke Township belonged to a village in Puli county.

In March 1950, Kukexilike township was built.

In January 1952, Puli county set up district government at the grass-roots level, and kukesiluke Township belongs to four districts.

In 1958, kukoshilik commune was established.
