Ahonglukumu Township
Ahonglukumu Township, belonging to yuepuhu County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of yuepuhu county. It is connected with Bachu County in the East, Bayi Awati Township in the south, Bayi Awati Township in the West and Jiashi County in the north, with a total area of 281.01 square kilometers.
In 1941 and 1956, ahonglukumu Township and azibazha were divided into three townships in tieremu District of yuepuhu County; in 1984, ahonglukumu commune was changed into ahonglukumu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the Al hung Lu Mu Mu township was 2974. In 2019, ahonglukumu Township governs four administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in yifutudikumu village.
The main food crops in ahonglukumu township are wheat and corn; the main economic crops are cotton; the livestock industry is mainly raising sheep and poultry. In 2018, there were two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in ahonglukumu township.
History of construction
In 1941, Bachu county was under the jurisdiction of Shache county.
In 1956, together with azibaza, it was assigned to three townships of tieremu District, yuepuhu county.
In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of the 8th brigade of tieremu commune.
At the end of 1966, the 8th brigade of tieremu commune set up Dongfanghong commune.
In 1980, Dongfanghong commune was renamed yaqiakti commune.
In 1984, yaqiakti commune changed its name to ahonglukumu commune; in the same year, it changed to ahonglukumu township.

The origin of place names
Ahonglukumu, Uyghur language, means the sand land of the Imam of the ancient philosopher; there is ahonglukumuzha in the territory, which is said to be the cemetery of the sage Mullah re yimuhuojia, hence the name.

Ahonglukumuza is a county-level cultural relic protection unit, located about 2 kilometers northwest of ahonglukumu village, ahonglukumu township. The southwest area of Mazha is a large cemetery.
