Tierimu Town, belonging to yuepuhu County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of yuepuhu county. It is connected with bayawati Township and 42nd regiment of the third agricultural division in the East, Shache County in the south, seyeke Township and yuepuhu Township in the west, and Jiashi County in the North. It is 23 kilometers away from yuepuhu County, with a total area of 1045.29 square kilometers.

History of construction

In 1950, it was the Fourth District, and the district office was stationed in yiltizlik.

In 1953, it was divided into six districts.

In 1958, tielimu commune was established.

In 1966, tielimu commune was renamed Hongguang commune.

In 1973, the name of tielimu commune was restored.

In 1978, tielimu commune was renamed tiere commune.

In 1984, tierimu commune was transformed into tierimu township.

In 2014, tierimu township was changed from township to town.
