Alali Township, belonging to Shule County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Shule county. It is connected with yingawati Township in the East, Yingjisha County in the south, Aimu East Township in the West and yafuquan town in the north, with a total area of 123 square kilometers.

In 1954, the area around alali township was called alali district; in 1984, alali commune was changed into alali township.
