Caikannuoer Township, belonging to Bohu County, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Bohu county. It is connected with bostenghu Township in the East, Southeast, South and southwest, Chagannuoer Township in the west, Bohu Town, Bazhou breeding stock farm and wulanzegesen Township in the north and Northeast. In 1950, caikannuoer township was under the jurisdiction of Heshuo County; in 1984, caikannuoer township was established from Chagannuoer commune. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the town of Knoll was 6926. In 2019, four administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of caikannuoer.
