Bingdi township is under the jurisdiction of Jinyang County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Bingdi township was set up in 1954, the commune was changed in 1972, and the township was restored in 1984.
In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish Bingdi Township and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Bingdi Town, which is located at No. 5 Haiwu street, bingdiluo village.
Bingdi township is located in the northwest of the county, 50 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 93.4 square kilometers and has a population of 3000. Jinzhao highway passes through. It has jurisdiction over five village committees, namely, shaluoyida, bingdiluo, Buluo, munigur and Dagulu.
Bingdi Township mainly produces potato, corn, buckwheat and oats. Animal husbandry is mainly pig and sheep.
