Tahaqi Town, belonging to Heshuo County, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Heshuo County, the south foot of Tianshan Mountain and the northeast of Yanqi Basin. It is connected with quhui Township in the East, baoertu pasture in the south, sukhart Township in the West and Hejing County in the north, with a total area of 194.65 square kilometers.

In April 1950, tahaqi town belongs to Qingshuihe District II; in 2013, tahaqi town was changed from tahaqi township to tahaqi town. By the end of 2018, Taha had 7580 registered residence in his town. In 2019, tahaqi town governs one community and six administrative villages.
