Going to the countryside

Yingxiaxiang, belonging to Korla City, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Korla City. It borders tiekeqi Township in the East, Awati Township in the south, sayidun horticultural farm in the west, qiarbage Township across Kongque River in the north, 3km away from Korla municipal government, with a total area of 25.33 square kilometers.

In 1950, yingxiaxiang area belonged to the third district of Korla County; in 1984, yingxiacommune was withdrawn and changed to yingxiaxiang. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the countryside was 10756. In 2019, Yingxia will have jurisdiction over six communities and four administrative villages.

The agriculture in the countryside was mainly vegetable cultivation, and the animal husbandry was mainly cattle, sheep and poultry. In 2018, there will be one industrial enterprise in the countryside.

History of construction

In 1950, yingxiaxiang area belonged to the third district of Korla county.

In 1958, the British commune was established.

In 1979, Korla county was divided into Korla City.

In 1984, Yingxia commune was withdrawn and Yingxia village was established.

administrative division

In 2011, Yingxia village has four administrative villages, namely Yingxia, qilanbage, kalabag and akedun, and seven villager groups.

In 2019, Yingxia village has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 4 administrative villages: friendly community, qilanbage community, Fumin community, happy community, Shayidong community, Jinli community, Yingxia village, qilanbage village, karbage village and akedong village.

Yingxia township is located in the southwest of Korla City, bordering tiekeqi Township in the East, Awati Township in the south, sayidun horticultural farm in the west, and qiarbage Township across Kongque River in the north. Yingxiaxiang has a flat and open terrain, high in the north and low in the south, with an altitude of 920-925 meters.

climate

Yingxiaxiang has a temperate continental climate, which is characterized by long sunshine, abundant heat, little rainfall and large evaporation; the average temperature for many years is 11.5 ℃.

natural resources

Water resources in Yingxia rural area are composed of surface water and groundwater, of which surface water comes from Kongque River. The agricultural irrigation water is the mixture of surface water and groundwater.

In 2011, there were 28000 people going to the countryside, including 12000 permanent residents and 15000 floating people. In the total population, there are 18000 males, accounting for 65.55%; 10000 females, accounting for 34.45%; mainly Uighur, 26000, accounting for 92%; other nationalities, 20000, accounting for 8%; the population density is 1018 per square kilometer.
