Areletohai Ranch

The areletuohai ranch in Bole City is located at the southwest edge of Bole City, 30km, on the South Bank of the middle reaches of Bortala river. It borders XIAOYINGPAN town in the East, haribuhu town and Taxiu Township in Wenquan in the west, XIAOYINGPAN town and 87 regiment across Bortala River in the north, and Ili in the south. The total area is 2 million mu, including 1.96 million mu of grassland and 40000 mu of cultivated land. It has jurisdiction over 13 agricultural teams and 6 animal husbandry teams, with 6823 people from 10 ethnic groups including Han, ha, Wei, Meng and Hui (2010).

General situation of Agriculture

The Achang party and Management Committee firmly grasp the main line of "invigorating agriculture through science and education". On the basis of ensuring food security supply, they focus on improving yield and quality, optimizing grain variety structure, promoting high-yield and high-quality varieties, expanding the planting area of high-quality economic crops, guiding farmers and herdsmen to develop and expand the planting area of characteristic crops. In 2005, 20000 mu of corn, 3133 mu of sugar beet, 3594 mu of wheat, 1214 mu of oil sunflower and 5000 mu of alfalfa were planted. There are 4 varieties of characteristic crops with a total area of 1100 mu. At the same time, we actively developed order agriculture. In 2005, we signed 4 planting order contracts, covering an area of 14000 mu.

Animal Husbandry

Animal husbandry has always played an important role in Achang. Animal husbandry has introduced and bred many excellent varieties. In 1999, it was named "production base of Sapale fine wool sheep" by the Ministry of agriculture of the people's Republic of China. In 2001, it established "Shuangbai poultry breeding community". Now, 21 chicken farmers have settled in, and 64000 chickens are sold annually. There are 68974 livestock, including 24316 in agricultural areas and 44658 in pastoral areas; there are 63731 sheep, 3806 cattle, 374 camels, 609 pigs, 446 horses and 8 red deer; there are 51476 birds, providing 1061 tons of meat and 19 tons of eggs to the society.

Science, education, culture and health

There is no middle school or primary school in Achang. On the basis of vigorously consolidating, improving and popularizing the nine-year compulsory education, we have actively increased the construction of school infrastructure. At present, all schools are equipped with modern computer rooms, closed-circuit television and laboratories, and the quality of education and teaching has entered the forefront of Bole City. with the continuous development of socialist construction, Achang has invested a lot of human, material and financial resources in medical treatment, health care, epidemic prevention, public health and other aspects, and has achieved remarkable results, which has fundamentally reversed the situation of lack of medicine and greatly improved the people's health level. By the end of 2005, there were 16 health technicians, 10 village doctors and health workers, and 7 beds. Achang's Radio and television has gone through the process of establishment and development. The coverage rate of broadcasting population is 100%, that of television population is 100%, and that of cable TV is 500 households. the living standards of the Achang people have improved rapidly, and the differences between workers and peasants and between urban and rural areas have gradually narrowed. In 2005, the per capita income was 3689 yuan. By the end of 2005, 73 employees had participated in unemployment insurance, 2217 employees had participated in basic endowment insurance, and 5740 employees had participated in basic medical insurance.

Secondary and tertiary industries

In 2005, Achang seriously implemented the world bank loan project, disease prevention and water improvement project, road construction project, land consolidation project, forage demonstration base project, cultural position construction project, etc., with an investment of more than 20 million yuan. We also paid close attention to the work of the secondary and tertiary industries, encouraged farmers and herdsmen to develop the non-public economy, and further accelerated the work of the service industry, transportation industry and professional operators. At present, there are 89 non-public enterprises (including self-employed) in Achang, with 786 employees. Among them, there are 9 industries with 146 employees, with an output value of 12 million yuan; 37 wholesale and retail industries with 58 employees, with an output value of 3.42 million yuan; 29 transportation industries with 37 employees, with an output value of 1.7 million yuan; 7 catering industries with 14 employees, with an output value of 1.09 million yuan; 6 social service industries with 8 employees, with an output value of 1.2 million yuan; and 1 construction industry, with an output value of 1.2 million yuan The company has 12 employees, with an output value of 800000 yuan. There are 52 agricultural machinery operators and 178 employees, including 34 large and medium tractors (30 chain rail tractors and 4 wheel tractors).
