Qiao Renxiang

Qioren township is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Qitai County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Located 45 kilometers to the east of Qitai County, the border line (around border post 93) is 27 kilometers long. It is a border Township and ethnic township. There are 15600 Mu cultivated land, 1 million mu natural grassland, 70% vegetation coverage and 11% forest coverage. The total population is 3063 (2017). Evolution of organizational system

Qiaoren township was formerly known as Yuejin ranch. In 1958, there were 39 households of Qitai town residents and Yuejin commune members who freely combined to form an animal husbandry unit. The address was in the broad ditch of Yuejin commune (banjiegou), hence the name Yuejin ranch. In 1960, Yuejin farm was merged with the then County pig farm, and was renamed the first pig farm in Qitai County. In 1962, the first pig farm in Qitai County was abolished. Because the property of the county owned pig farm was owned by the whole people, its name was changed to public-private joint venture Yuejin farm. In 1965, the site was moved from Nanshan Kuangou to qioren. During the cultural revolution, it was renamed Weidong ranch, and in 1978 it was renamed Qitai County State ranch with the approval of the higher authorities. in 1984, it was officially named qioren Kazakh Township during the construction of township government.
