DianAn township is located in the south of Longde County, where the Township People's government is located in the old street. It is 41 kilometers away from the county. It has a total area of 70.48 square kilometers and a population of 4188 (2017).

Originally in Jingning County. Before liberation, there was a town called didian, and at the beginning of liberation, it was diean township. In May 1956, DianAn Township and Jinglin township of Jingning County were assigned to Longde County, and Jinglin township was withdrawn and merged into Liangbao township; in August, the villages of zhouwangjia, xushijia, shangliangzi, Yangjiagou and songjiayuan in Zhuanglang County were assigned to DianAn Township and Liangbao township of Longde County. In October 1958, Qianfeng commune was changed to DianAn commune (renamed DianAn commune in April 1959). It was stationed in didianzi and governed most of the former liangpu Township and DianAn township. In November 1961, Yang Gou commune was set up by dian'an commune. In January 1984, the commune was changed into a township. In 1996, dian'an Township covers an area of 50 square kilometers and has a population of 8000. It governs 16 administrative villages, including Jiujie, Xinjie, Maping, Jinglin, Liangbao, Dingjia, ZhangTian, xueyang, LEIWANG, Mawan, Hongxian, Daying, Haiying, huitai, Hexia and danggou. Yanggou Township covers an area of 27 square kilometers and has a population of 5000. It governs yanggou, Songyuan, Dishan, Zhuyuan, dacha, Zhouwang, Zhaogou, Shangliang Yanmiao, Haizi, menggou 11 administrative villages. In October 2003, yanggou township was abolished and merged into dian'an township. In 2006, it governed 13 administrative villages, including Jiujie, Xinjie, Maping, Jinglin, Liangbao, ZhangTian, Mawan, LEIWANG, Zhuyuan, Zhouwang, yanmiao, Haizi and yanggou. It borders Shanhe Township in the East, Yuebao Township in Zhuanglang County in the west, Wenbao Township in the north and Tonghua Township in Zhuanglang County in the south. The township is 38 km away from the county seat, with 13 administrative villages and 55 villager groups under its jurisdiction. The total population is 4188 people (in 2017). The cultivated land area is 40521 mu, and the converted land area is 29954 Mu over the years. The per capita net income in 2008 is 2218 yuan.
