Fengdeng town is located in the north of Yinchuan City, between 1050 E and 380 n. It borders Helan County in the East, Beijing West Road office in the South and Luhua town in the West. The town is about 7 km wide from east to west and 13 km long from north to south, with a total land area of 48.46 square kilometers. The Central Avenue of Yinchuan city runs through the north and south, and the North Fifth Ring Road runs through the East and West. The town governs 7 administrative villages and 88 natural villages. The stratum is composed of Quaternary alluvial and lacustrine deposits of the Yellow River. Within 5m from top to bottom, the stratum can be divided into four layers: plain fill layer, silty clay layer, silt layer and silty fine sand layer.
