Xingjing town

Xingjing town of Xixia district is located in Wenchang South Road of Yinchuan city. In response to the national immigration policy, it moved from Jingyuan County of Ningxia in 1983 and transferred to the original suburb of Yinchuan City in 2001. After the redefinition of the three districts in November 2002, it was under the jurisdiction of Xixia district.

Xingjing Town, Xixia District, with a total area of 28.85 square kilometers, governs 6 administrative villages (38 natural villages), 1 community neighborhood committee and 1 mobile immigration management service station, with a total population of 24513 (2017). There are 1 complete middle school, 5 complete primary schools, 1 health center, 1 Islamic vocational skills training school and 1 folk music kindergarten in Xingjing town. In 2007, the per capita net income of farmers was 2004 yuan, an increase of 16.2% over the previous year. under the correct leadership and strong support of Xixia district Party committee and government, Xingjing town has made great progress in economic and social undertakings. The adjustment of agricultural industrial structure has achieved results, the pace of infrastructure construction has been accelerated, the farmland and water conservancy facilities have been gradually improved, and the Islamic style tourism, service industry and labor export industry have developed steadily. So far, a total of 30000 second-generation solar greenhouses, 4 greenhouses planting parks, 1 dairy cattle breeding community and 1 beef cattle breeding community have been built. There are 1039 cows and 5989 beef cattle in the town, with an annual feeding capacity of 29500. The planting structure was further adjusted and the planting area was expanded to 14495 mu. Shilipu village is under construction. It is planned to occupy an area of 879 mu, with 1050 households, one family and one house, covering an area of 0.4 mu. According to the principle of "unified planning, unified setting out, unified elevation, unified appearance, unified management and the combination of government construction and farmers' self construction", the construction was started. Phase I project covers an area of 435 mu, including 161.2 mu of residential land, 56.3 mu of road and square land, 35 mu of green land, 68.4 mu of public facilities land and 114.1 mu of other land.
