Zhenqin town
Zhenqin Town, subordinate to Chengduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the east of Chengduo County, adjacent to Shiqu County, Sichuan Province in the East, Xiewu town in the south, and Chengwen town and Qingshuihe town in the West and North. In 2018, the area of Zhen Qin town was 2326.77 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 11459.
In October 2019, Zhenqin town has one community and 11 animal husbandry committees.
Zhenqin town is a pure animal husbandry Town, with a total area of 4.769 million mu of natural grassland, including 3.671 million mu of usable grassland. In 2011, 21315 livestock (cattle and horses) were on hand at the end of the year, including 20110 cattle, 1057 sheep and 148 horses. The per capita net income of herdsmen was 2065 yuan.

In 1959, Zhenqin commune was established.
In 1963, Zhenqin township was established.
