Huashixia town

HUASHIXIA Town, subordinate to Maduo County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the northeast of Maduo County. It is adjacent to Maqin County of Guoluo Prefecture and Xinghai County of Hainan Prefecture in the East, Huanghe Township in the South and Dulan County of Haixi Prefecture in the north. The people's government is located at the intersection of national highway 214 and Huaji highway, 80 kilometers away from Maduo County, with a total administrative area of 8804.52 square kilometers.

In 1957, it was subordinate to Huashixia District of Gande County, and it was assigned to Maduo County in the same year. On March 5, 2001, Huashixia town was established by merging Qingshui, Huashixia and Heihai townships. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Huate was 4919. In 2019, Huashixia town governs one community, eight administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed at the intersection of national highway 214 and Huaji highway.

In 1958, Huashixia commune was established.

In 1984, Huashixia commune was transformed into HUASHIXIA township.

On March 5, 2001, Huashixia town was established by merging Qingshui, Huashixia and Heihai.
