Machali Town, belonging to Maduo County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southwest of Maduo County. It is bounded by the requ river of Huanghe Township in the East, across the Chaqu River from GONGMA township of Changsha, Shiqu County, Sichuan Province in the south, Qingshuihe town of Chengduo county and zalinghu township of Maduo County in the west, and rixie and Jiaguo villages of Huashixia in the north. In 1958, Machali town was subordinate to the Yellow River along commune; in May 2008, it was changed from township to Machali town. History of construction

In 1958, under the Yellow River along the commune.

In 1963, Heihe commune was established along the Yellow River.

In 1984, Heihe commune was transformed into Heihe township.
