Xiagongma Township, subordinate to Gande County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southwest of Gande County, facing dari County across the river in the East, kequ town in the south, GANGLONG Township in the south, Qingzhen Township in the west, 26 kilometers away from the county, with a total area of 710 square kilometers.

In 1955, xiagongma district was established in xiagongma township; in January 1962, xiagongma commune was changed into xiagongma township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the lower tributary Ma Township was 3889. In 2019, xiagongma Township governs four administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in zhehe village.
