Gangcha Tibetan Township
Gangcha Tibetan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Xunhua Salar Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the southwest of Xunhua Salar Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Daowei Township in the East, Ganjia Township in Xiahe County, Gansu Province in the southeast, Tongren County in the south, Jianzha County in the West, and guleng, Wendu and Baizhuang Township in the north. The administrative area is 266.06 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 2094 people had registered residence in the township of gang cha. As of October 2019, Gangcha Tibetan countryside has jurisdiction over three administrative villages.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Gangcha Tibetan township was 9.852 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4945.1 yuan.
History of construction
Before October 1953, it was the Gangcha nomadic Special Administrative Region.
In October 1953, Gangcha animal husbandry township was established, belonging to the third jurisdiction.
In August 1956, the district was withdrawn and renamed Gangcha Tibetan township.
In July 1958, the local state-owned red flag ranch was established.
On July 20, 1959, Gangcha animal husbandry commune was established.
In November 1961, it was renamed Gangcha commune.
On October 3, 1966, it was renamed spark commune.
On June 4, 1970, it was renamed Gangcha commune.
In June 1984, it was changed to Gangcha Tibetan township.

The topography of Gangcha Tibetan township is low at both ends and high in the middle. Alpine bee is qiajin mountain, which means the mountain god in armor, with an altitude of 4156 meters; in the southeast, there is gaozongka mountain, with an altitude of 3780 meters, which means the flock of yellow sheep on the mountain net; in the East, there is Rigan mountain, with an altitude of 3634 meters, which means a huge mountain; in the west, there is guomaoka mountain, with an altitude of 3618 meters, which means the top of the mountain where eagles fly down. The average altitude of the territory is more than 3200 meters.

The main forages are Artemisia ordosica, alpine Artemisia ordosica, Carex and a small amount of Achnatherum splendens, shrub grass, etc. the coverage of grassland vegetation is more than 80%.

The main natural disasters in Gangcha Tibetan township are cold current, snow disaster, flood, drought, animal disease, infectious disease and lightning strike. Heavy snow disasters occurred in October 1995 and May 2005, resulting in a large number of deaths of livestock and frostbite of some herdsmen. In September 2007, a flood swept away more than 2000 sheep in Gangcha village; in 2004, one person died of lightning strike, and in 2006, one person died of lightning strike, and seven people were injured.
