Hanban town
Hanban Town, belonging to Zhouqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Zhouqu County, adjacent to Fengdi Township in the East, Dayu Township in the south, Lijie Township in the west, and Dangchang County, Longnan City in the north. The area is 150.02 square kilometers. In 2018, 5116 people registered residence.
In the seventh year of Yongzheng (1729), the land was transferred to Liuzhou and Xigu. Before 1949, Han banbao was under the jurisdiction of Fengdi township. After 1949, Heiyu commune was established successively. In 1961, it was renamed Hanban commune. In 1984, it was changed to Hanban township. In 2018, the township will be changed into a town. In June 2020, Hanban town governs nine administrative villages.
