Xinyuan sub district office, established in March 2012, is the agency of Kuancheng district government. It has jurisdiction over two communities and five-star village. The administrative area covers an area of 7.6 square kilometers (including 96 hectares of cultivated land) with a total number of 17338 households and a total population of 50293.

Xinyuan sub district office, established in March 2012, is the agency of Kuancheng district government. It is adjacent to Changchun Kuancheng Economic Development Zone in the East, Changchun Ring Expressway in the south, Luyuan District in the West and Nong'an County in the north. It governs Lanxi community and four administrative villages: Jiangjia village, Taijia village, Liuma village and Mengjia village. on October 3, 2014, according to the notice of the general office of Changchun Municipal People's Government on adjusting the jurisdiction of Lanjia town and Xinyuan sub district office in Kuancheng District, the Wuxing village, Chang'an Shijia community and Minsheng home community under the jurisdiction of Lanjia town were entrusted to Xinyuan sub district, and the Lanxi community, Jiangjia village, Taijia village, Liuma village and Mengjia village under the jurisdiction of Xinyuan sub district were entrusted to Lanjia town.

Geographical situation and administrative division

The administrative area of Xinyuan sub district office starts from Changha railway in the East, borders Luyuan District of Changchun City in the west, starts from beihuancheng road in the South and ends at Beisihuan Road in the north, covering an area of 7.6 square kilometers (including 96 hectares of cultivated land). The sub district office has one administrative village and two community residents committees, with a total number of 17338 households and a total population of 50293.

Two communities: Chang'an Shijia community, Minsheng Jiayuan community, one village: Wuxing village, Xinyuan sub district office has five functional sections, namely, party and government comprehensive office, social affairs management section, financial and economic guidance section, culture, education and health section, and urban management section.
