Alimatudong Township

Alimatu Dongxiang nationality township, belonging to Guanghe County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Guanghe county. It is connected with Chengguan town in the East, Guangtong River in the South and buyuxiang town in the south, Sanhe Township in Hezheng County in the west, Nalesi Township and Zhao Township in Dongxiang Nationality Autonomous County in the north. The area is 36.41 square kilometers. In 2018, 18457 people registered residence.

Before 1949, it belonged to Leshan township. After 1949, malitu township was set up under the jurisdiction of Maolin district. In 1956, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, alimotu was incorporated into Maolin township. In 1958, when the people's commune was set up, almatu was under the jurisdiction of buyerxiang commune. In November 1961, after the separation of Guanghe county and Hezheng County, alimotu commune was established. In March 1983, it was renamed as alimatudong township. In October 2019, the rural areas of alimatu Dongxiang nationality have jurisdiction over six administrative villages.
