Taishihe Township, belonging to Xihe County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Xihe County, adjacent to Daqiao town in the East, Longxing town in Wudu District in the south, Sanyu Township in Lixian County in the west, Xiaoliang Township in Lixian County in the northwest and Haolin Township in the north. It is 75 kilometers away from Xihe County, with a total area of 125.09 square kilometers.

In June 1950, ginkgo township was set up in taishihe township; in January 1983, ginkgo commune was changed into taishihe township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Tai Shi He township was 5580. As of June 2020, taishihe township has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Zhangba natural village, Longshan Village.
