Muer Township
Muer Township, belonging to Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Dangchang County, bordering Lujing town of Min County in the East, Jiahe town in the south, Lichuan town in the west, and Bali Town in the north. It is 42 kilometers away from Dangchang County, with a total area of 51.95 square kilometers.
Before 1949, it belonged to Lichuan Town, Minxian County; in October 1983, Muer commune was changed into Muer township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town of auricular was 7771. As of June 2020, Muer township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Lasi village.
The main food crops in Muer township are wheat and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Muer township was 1450 yuan.
History of construction
Before 1949, it belonged to Lichuan Town, Minxian county.
In 1950, Muer township was established.
In 1961, mu'er township was changed into mu'er commune.
In October 1983, mu'er commune was changed into mu'er township.
