HuangChen Town, subordinate to Chengxian County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Chengxian County, bordering Jifeng town in the East, tanhe Township in the south, Taishi Township and douping Township in Kangxian County in the west, across the rhinoceros River, Xiaochuan town and Suochi Township in the north, 40 km away from Chengxian County, with a total area of 59.01 square kilometers.

In August 1961, HuangChen commune was established in HuangChen town; in July 2002, it was changed from HuangChen township to HuangChen town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Huang Chen town was 11599. As of June 2020, HuangChen town has nine administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in HuangChen village.

The main food crops in HuangChen town are wheat and corn; the main economic crops are vegetables, walnuts and traditional Chinese medicine; the animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs and poultry. In 2018, HuangChen town had 3 industrial enterprises and 17 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In August 1961, Huang Chen commune was established, named after Huang Chen village.

In April 1983, Huang Chen commune was changed into Huang Chen township.

In July 2002, HuangChen township was replaced by HuangChen township.
