Citrus town, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Wudu district. It borders Sanhe Town in the East, waina town in the south, Hanwang town in the West and Guohe Township in the north. It is 23 kilometers away from Wudu City, with a total area of 67 square kilometers.
In the Northern Wei Dynasty, jugan town was under the jurisdiction of Dangdang County, WuJie County; in 2018, it was changed from jugan township to jugan town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Tanggan town was 7921. As of June 2020, citrus town has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Hejiaping village.
The main food crops in jugan town are wheat, corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry. In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises and 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in citrus town.
History of construction
In the Northern Wei Dynasty, WuJie county was set up to play when county (in today's daanmiao Village).
In the Western Wei Dynasty, Jin county was established.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the old city.
In 1913, it belonged to houri city; in 1935, it belonged to Zhongnan township.
In July 1952, Dongcun township was added.
In January 1953, a new village was set up.
In November 1955, Dongcun township was merged into Gaishi township.
In March 1958, Mabu township was changed into tangerine township; in June of the same year, MoBa township was merged; in October of the same year, tangerine commune was established; in November of the same year, tangerine commune was merged into Toufang commune.
In June 1961, some brigades were set up from Toufang and Sanhe communes to rebuild citrus commune.
In December 1983, citrus commune was transformed into citrus township.
In 2018, citrus township will be changed from township to town.
