Sizu town

Sizu Town, subordinate to Zhangxian County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Zhangxian County, adjacent to Maquan Township in the East, Shichuan town in the south, Dacaotan town in the west, xihuqiao town and Yanjing town in the north, with an administrative area of 167.28 square kilometers.

History of construction

In January 1941, Guiqing township was established.

In September 1949, it belonged to Guiqing district.

In March 1952, four nationality township was set up.

In April 1958, it was under the management of four ethnic groups in Yanjing commune.

In January 1962, it was changed into a village of four nationalities.

In May 1966, it was changed into a four nationality commune.

In February 1984, it was changed to Sizu township.

In 2016, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved the abolition of Sizu Township and the establishment of Sizu town.
