Majiaji Town, subordinate to Weiyuan County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Weiyuan County, connecting tianjiahe Township in the southeast, urban and rural areas in the south, Lintao County in the west, northwest and North, Shangwan Township in the northeast, with an administrative area of 70.16 square kilometers.

History of construction

Before September 1949, it belonged to zongdan township of Huichuan county.

After October 1949, it belonged to majiaji District of Huichuan county.

In July 1958, Huichuan county was abolished and assigned to Weiyuan County. In December of the same year, Weiyuan County was abolished and assigned to Lintao county.

In December 1962, Weiyuan County was restored and majiaji commune was established.

In July 1983, it was changed to majiaji township.

In July 2001, it was transformed into Majia market town.
