Yuancheng Town, belonging to Huachi County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Huachi County, adjacent to Baima Township and Huai'an Township in the West and south, and guanguanmiao Township and Miaogou Township in Shaanxi Province in the East and North, with a total administrative area of 201.8 square kilometers.
In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Huai'an County; in March 2002, it was Gaiyuan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yuan town was 5937. In June 2020, Yuancheng town governs one community and six administrative villages.
In 2011, the urban financial revenue was 1.15 million yuan, an increase of 2% over the previous year. In 2018, Yuancheng town has three industrial enterprises and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Huai'an county.
In the Song Dynasty, the town was set up.
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was Yuancheng town in Anhua County.
In 1912, it was the Fourth District of Qingyang County.
In June 1936, Chiqing county was set up in Yuancheng of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Province.
In September 1937, it was Yuancheng District of Huachi County.
