Liudun town

Liudun Town, subordinate to Yumen City, Jiuquan County, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Yumen City, with state-owned Yinma farm in the East, Liuhe Township in the south, Qidun Hui Dongxiang Township in the West and mahuangtan in the north. The administrative area is 44 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, the population of six towns had 2519 registered residence. As of June 2020, liudun town has jurisdiction over five administrative villages. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in liudun town was 950 yuan, an increase of 162 yuan or 20.6% over the previous year.

History of construction

In 2002, Guazhou county was responsible for the development and construction, and set up three immigration workstations, Zhouqu and Dangchang, the capital of Wudu. Later, they were separated out because of their location in Yumen.

In 2006, it was transferred to Yumen City for management.

In April 2007, qiduntan immigration work station was set up, which was managed by Liuhe Township, with 3 administrative villages and 10 villager groups.

In December 2009, the Preparatory Office of liudun Township People's government was established.

On August 6, 2010, liudun Township People's government was officially established, and on October 28 of the same year, 2 Shulehe project of Yinma farm was transferred to liudun township for management.

On August 20, 2018, liudun Township held a ceremony to remove the township and change the town.
