Taozhen
Tao Town is subordinate to Mizhi County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the east of Mizhi County, it borders Dafosi Township in Jiaxian County in the East, Yangjiagou town in the southwest, qiaohecha Township in the west, Yindou town in the northwest and Wuzhen town in Jiaxian County in the north. The total area is 128 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
According to the ancient legend, there was taohuamao. Later it was said that it was taohuamao. Now it is simplified as Taozhen.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to the southern Tai'an Erli.
In 1928, it belonged to taohuamao Town, the second district.
In 1942, it was returned to Taozhen district.
In 1958, Taozhen commune was established.
In July 1984, it was renamed Taozhen.
In June 2011, jijiacha township was merged into Tao Town.
