Wang Chuan Town, a part of Qinzhou District, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the southwest of Qinzhou District, adjacent to the gate Township, east of Ma County, Huai County, Hui County, and Ma Yuan Township, Xihe county. It is linked to Yanguan town and Kuan Chuan Township in Lixian County, and is adjacent to Tianshui town in 2018. In 2018, the area was 192.47 square meters and the registered residence population was 40819.

In 1958, it was transferred to Tianshui county and merged with Damen, Sucheng and Yanji communes to form Damen commune.
In 1961, Wangchuan commune was established after it was separated from Damen commune, Sucheng commune and Yanji commune.
In 1983, it was changed to township.
In 1985, it was assigned to Qincheng district.
In December 2003, the township division was adjusted and Sucheng township was merged into Wangchuan town.
In January 2005, it was under the jurisdiction of Qinzhou District.
