Shanghuacha Township

Shanghuacha Township, belonging to Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Yuzhong County, adjacent to yuanzicha Township in the East, Gongjing Township in the south, haxian Township and Qingcheng Township in the west, and qiangwan Township in Baiyin district across the Yellow River in the north. The area is 174 square kilometers. In 2018, 7019 people registered residence.

In April 1958, Heping Township and Xinzhuang Township were merged into shanghuacha township. In May 1961, it was changed into Huacha commune. In 1983, it was changed to Huacha township. In June 2020, shanghuacha township has jurisdiction over six administrative villages.

In 2018, shanghuacha township has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
